"How Does My Faith Support My Mental Health?"

1) No one is an accident!

Genesis 1:26 NKJV
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Psalm 139:14–16 NKJV
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
1 Corinthians 12:7 NKJV
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:
Proverbs 22:6 NKJV
6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
We where created in the image of God.
He knew who we where before we where born.
everyone has unique gifts and talents.
Proverbs 22:6 should be translated there is a well worn path inside each of us.

2. Since you are unique, what success looks like for you is also unique.

Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
We have stated thus far that you where created in the image of God, therefore you are not an accident!
We have stated that you where given gifts by God all mighty. Therefore you have purpose. you have everything needed to be fruitful.
When you have a child that cannot communicate you have to get a new vision for what life with that child is going to be like. -Sherry Ham.

When you receive a chronic diagnosis, you may have to rethink your definition of “Success” to fit your unique attribute.

No one on this earth is without challenges.

We all have to take responsibility for our special challenges.

Making excuses for why my success doesn't fallow a traditional path takes energy and resources away from my actual success.

Normal is a dryer setting

Nothing about our lives or journeys has been normal. neither will your success.

Just because the vast majority of people will not recognize your success immediately dose not make it invalid. DO NOT LET MAJORITY OPINION STOP YOU FROM CELEBRATING YOUR SUCCESS.

3. Finally, everyone needs community.

Everyone needs a crew.

Hebrews 10:24–25 NKJV
24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
